Sharing you Photos
This is the most important section of digital photography, if you take photos and don’t share it with others, no one will see your masterpieces. There are many ways to share you digital photographs, from mailing or emailing the prints, putting them on websites, making slideshows, and digital photo frames.

Mailing/Emailing:Mail
This is probably the traditional method by sending your printed photos to friends and family around the world. It is still one of the best because you get a hard copy of the file rather then just something you can see on a computer. Emailing the photos is the most convenient method of sharing your photos because you can send them to numerous people at the same time. When you email the photos, make sure you compress the files before mailing them. You can easily do this is most photo editing applications, make the pixels smaller to about 800x600 and you should bring the quality down to around 80% to reduce the file size.

Websites:Internet
Sharing your photos on a website, whether it’s your own or a photo sharing site, is a great way to spread your photos to others quickly. If you want to have photos on your own website, you can use the many programs to easily create an online photo album. The problem is, you will need to find a location to host the files. Most Internet Service Providers give you a reasonable amount of storage to post your websites, look in the manual on how to set it up and upload the files. On the other hand, if you don’t want to make your own website, you can use various online services to share your photos to others. Most of these services have large editing abilities and allows you do share them with privacy settings for free or at a small price.

Digital Photo Frames: Digital Frames
This is a next generation method of sharing your digital photos. In most houses, there is at least one framed photograph around. However, did you ever think about having a photo frame that changes the picture from time to time? Digital photo frames is basically a LCD with a small image processor. There are many ways to transfer photos to these frames, you can connect it to a computer from a network cable, use memory cards, or transfer photos wirelessly. Each of these methods has advantages and disadvantages. First, if you connect over the network, the frame has to keep them in its own memory, which means there is a limit to how many photos you can store. Second, you can insert memory cards to the frame it and it can automatically play photos from that card. The drawback is you have to leave the memory card in there but you have no limit, it is the amount of your memory card. Finally, you can get files directly from a wireless network or Bluetooth. The concern with that is, the photos would be stored in the frames own memory or on the computer. This means, if the computer is turned off the frame would have to use its limited amount of storage. As you can see, each method has disadvantages and advantages, choose one that you think would suit your needs.

Television:TV
Most digital cameras on the market have a LCD screen, but it would be much easier for a group of people to view your photos on a television. If your camera has a video out port, you can make a slideshow and connect it directly to the television. If your camera doesn’t have a video-out port, you can use a small photo viewer. The photo viewer connects to the television and reads many memory card types.

VCD/DVDs:Media
There are some commercial applications that will allow you to create DVD or VCD slideshows. Most recent DVD players can play the types of VCDs or DVDs you create on the computer. A great addition to the slideshow is that you can narrate the slides by recording them on a microphone. Each application is different; therefore, follow their detailed instructions on making a DVD or VCD slideshows. Creative Projects:Creative Projects
You can be very creative with your digital photographs and produce products the people would like. If you have an ink-jet printer you can produce customized greeting cards, t-shirts, labels, and stickers. For example, with iron-on transfer you can print something from the printer and use an iron to transfer the picture onto a t-shirt, hat, shorts, and etc. You can use the printer to print labels and stickers. If you want to me more creative, you can use Abobe Photoshop or Photoshop Elements to edit the almost any aspect of the photo, like the background, change the look of the person, and much more.

Conclusion:
There are many methods of sharing photographs, instead of just taking pictures and keeping them to yourself, share them with family and friends. You should also have fun sharing these photos whether it’s through mail, email, photo frames, television, disks, or making a creative object.
